Any chance this kid cracks the rotation at corner? He saw quite a bit of time at the end of last season on special teams. Could he challenge Elder or Dortch for the 5th CB spot?

He played because we had no depth, no of the reasons I was hoping Hope stay around a little longer. Folks don't want to admit admit we had depth/injury issues last year. In the RAB we were playing with a one-legged Hurns, Lewis and Coley as our starters, and without Dorsett, #6, and kid from Melbourne.

Rock, Do you have any film on him at DB? Hard to judge without knowing his quality of play at the position. But in general, DB is the best group on the defense, and is starting to look like a "Miami" unit again, so it will be relatively harder for any walkon, no matter how good. Even Mayes flashed some talent, so you have Gunter, Howard, A Carter, Burns, Elder, Dortch and Mayes all with good potential, and RL3 unclear. That's 7 to 8 guys that won't be easy to outshine in practice to earn playing time.

He is honestly not that good. he is a very hard worker but he is just not a good corner or safety. I watched him on one on ones and during scrimmage at the spring game. he lost the battles 1 on 1 and looked lost during the scrimmage.

Howard, Burns, Gunter, Crawford will put up a fight and won't give it up so easy no matter how hard delapinga comes at them.

Delapinga should get a look at running back, saw some film, very explosive shooting through the hole.

Nah he sucked this spring. I remember one practice D'Onofrio was all in his *** cuz he was ******* up, and dude had to yell at the kid reminding him he was practicing with the Miami Hurricanes. Don't think he sees time lol
