With the recent commitment of McClain we now have the momentum back and Mario has proved he is an ELITE recruiter once again.


Some top prospects we are in the running for
5* CB Desmond Ricks
5* OL Samson Okunlola
4* DL Rueben Bain
4* CB Damari Brown
4* RB Christopher Johnson Jr
3* CB Edwin Joseph

Prospects committed elsewhere we could possibly flip late
5* WR Brandon Inniss (Ohio State)
4* S Conrad Hussey (Penn State)
4* RB Mark Fletcher (Ohio State)

Unlikely these guys commit but we are still pushing for and as we can see anything is possible
5* DE Damon Wilson
5* DE Samuel M’Pemba
4* WR Malachi Coleman

My question: do we really need 3 TE and 2 QB when we clearly need more help along the lines? Give me more DL/OL/WR/DB help and take a chance with 2 TE/1QB.

We can sign as many as we want so long as we stay under 85. Thus, we could sign 30 and just force a few to show up after spring. This would limit our ability to sign portal kids which we all know are needed especially along the lines.

I'd be good with 24-26 HS kids so we don't get too young while also signing 6-10 kids with 1-2 years left to help sure up the '23 team. '24 is the year we should be focused on as the CFP expands to 12 giving the #2 ACC team a chance to make the CFP.

I know. I would make the numbers work with graduation and many players i would encourage to find a new home. I would want the roster to be dominated by players from James Williams class, and the players who came in since Mario left. Everybody else if they havent performed or got on the field......in Jamaica we say "lif' up"

The portal is where we need to make a huge statement. This group might be unlike anything we’ve ever seen in college football.

Just talking abt us needing a full roster flip. I remember hearing Pate saying that teams might flip 30-40% of their roster through transfer portal. Could definitely see us doing that with the state of our roster.
 
Is the 25 scholarship HS class limit no longer effective? Or does Miami have spots to retroactively apply towards 2022?
