How will no High School Football effect recruiting?

Could this be a positive thing for us with the Local recruit's? Even if there is high school football I would imagine official visits are off the Table. Man you got to feel bad for the Seniors if they don't have a season, a lot of those kids only go to school for football and without it they could go down a dark path.

I asked this same thing yesterday. Virginia is putting so many restrictions on football where there won't be locker rooms and you have to limit tackling and passing in practice. How will it not only affect development at a crucial age to be ready for the college game, but also accurate scouting? Some players make a huge jump from Junior to Senior, but some drop off

All I can say is I’m glad I’m not the one in charge of scouting talent during all this shxt

Yeah agreed this sucks for Seniors especially. It will be incumbent on college staffs to really do their homework if no HS ball is played. Color Patke clueless as it is, now he’d have to really study film. Who knows maybe it will turn into a Godsend and he’s either removed or picks up how to evaluate kids

You will see as a many kids as possible enroll early to get on a college campus as soon as possible. Doesn’t impact recruiting for the 2021 class. It has been discussed in other threads that no official visits really helps us if it plays out that way. We don’t need these south Florida kids visiting $EC schools

gonna be a ripple effect for years to come, would say a bunch of underrated kids but if smaller programs start folding there wont be a place for them to go.. like a 3-5 year recovery. Gonna be higher bust rates too

have to think we hav an advantage in terms of proximity. We have probably scouted future class already. But at the same time we have shown that we offer talented kids late. So who knows

Late bloomers get screwed. Kids who waited behind others for their opportunity don’t have the chance to be seen.

It could help the local schools with kids in those categories if those schools can identify them without the usual camps and senior tapes. This is where local relationships and word of mouth from other recruits is vital.

Like MJ said F them kids.

On the real I think this helps us. Bag man from the SEC gonna be a little lighter on the $crilla when a season is uncertain and guy hasn’t played a game in over a year.

Parents aren’t going to want kids to states where they can’t visit without 14 day quarantines. Rural bag schools will be hurt while we will benefit. There is enough talent within 3 hours drive of Miami to have a top 5 national class (maybe minus QB and OLine). Canes finna eat

Nothing makes more sense than Vince Mcmahon starting a HS football league in SFL. This is destiny.

Are you implying most football players are criminals if it wasn't for football.
