It’s all Blake’s fault for putting manny in a position to fail. Blake was following the shalala blue print to keep the U insignificant . Manny should be thankful for the experience and move on.

What really ****ed him off is that he didn't understand a word Mario said when he spoke in Spanish.

Aight; imma have to slide in Joy’s DM…she just called Diaz out on his exit statement. She called him out on his Temple situation. Lol. Starting to fall in love again & am willing to take that risk. Lol
Rell, care to post that link? Unlike others in this forum, I'm not above continuing to pile on Diaz. I think of Diaz as an empty politician and he hoodwinked a lot of people during his time here.

But why these threads? How many more of these are we gonna have on this site?

Seems childish.

I think most rational people have already moved on.

He was overmatched for the job, honestly should have never been put in that position by Blake.

Everything happens for a reason, had we not gone through all this, we may may not have been able to count on all the big money that’s coming in now.

You guys keep forgetting, the big difference is not necessarily Cristobal coming home, that’s only a part of it, it’s the fact that a long-term financial commitment has been made to sit at the big boys table of college football.

As far as all the recriminations and dredging up of what we already know, it’s time to…

Yeah, when it’s up…I’ll post it. I’m not on twitter, but I know they post his show’s highlights after it airs which will be done in 19 mins

I actually don't think he would be ****ed off at them hiring Mario at all. Probably sad but I imagine he is appreciative of what he has learned here and is still a canes fan. Wants these players to do well. He could be mad at the resources coming in after he is out (he mentioned that in his post) but the reality is that too is a learning experience. If your going to be successful playing big time ball at a big time program you require big time resources.

That it was Mario who got hired rather than a Kiffin or some other coach

Especially after that introductory press conference
He had no credibility with the players, no respect, and he did nothing to GAIN there respect .. just jewelry gimmicks and boats and childish ploys to attract attention. Reached the point that kids .. who wanted to go to UM .. avoided the place to the extent that Manny "planned on a small recruiting class". Now .. just by taking the job .. Mario is potentially looking at more recruits interested than there are spots in the class .. THAT is quite a message.

Nice enough guy. He was in over his head. Maybe had he gone to temple he would have been more prepared for a Miami type job later in life. He could learn a lot from Mario. Hopefully he does. He can still find success at a P5.
