How many of the 17 freshman that played last week...

Yeah this has me worried as well. Weather reports right now are saying ~50 and rainy, but who knows what it'll actually be come Saturday.

Remember that the ACC title game is Dec 1st in Charlotte.....gonna be cold, so we migh as well get used to it if we wanna win.

I wouldn't put much stock in the weather reports. It changes on the drop of a dime over there. Could be perfect or much worse.

Lol!! If we're not complaining about noon time heat, were cowering over 50 degree temps and rain.

Weak. **** the weather. Win.

My guess is it won't matter as much to a Golden team. Personally I loved playing in that type of weather. Counter intuitively rain probably helps us. Anything that slows the game down and forces Fish to commit to the run more probably would help us on D and be more balanced on O. Maybe I'm grasping.

nope. we want to spread them out and use fast break offense IMO. we are not gonna just line it up and run at em

Their DL is very good, and their LBs are terrific. Secondary is average. Their OL and TE are very good - that TE is elite. QB is weak but serviceable. Their WRs are solid and they are deep at RB. Expect a shootout at best or loss by 17 at worse IMO.

I hate cold weather as much as anyone, but 50 degrees in pads with your adrenaline pumping ain't ****.

We're not talking about some frozen tundra ****.

Will the weak-minded Shannonism mentality threads ever end? Mentally tough football teams aren't bothered by the temperature. Rain would be a problem as it would make it more difficult for us to pass on an inexperienced secondary, but no one should be worrying about the fortitude of this team in the cold.

I didn't know we had a roster of iguanas.

If you see a weird orange glow from our sideline, that's just Duke and crew laying under heat lamps. Don't mind that.

/dafugyallwont?

lmfao

The rain shouldn't hurt unless it becomes a torrential downpour. Cold? 40 isn't that cold when you're playing the game. Ball won't be a brick of ice or anything. If anything it helps the Irish some because our conditioning won't get to shine through as much as early.

I think that no matter who the coach is, when these boys take the field and it is blatantly colder than anything they have ever even BEEN in let alone played in, there will be some issues. I am really hoping for at least a dry field. If it is cold and wet, I am telling you when these boys get hit hard and they are cold it will affect them.

This

49-51, the temperatures i have seen, aren't cold when you are running around playing football.
