Ivey and Campbell would be instant contributors, with Samuel backing up bandy at the nickel if he is physically ready strength wise to tackle. Blades probably needs a year since he's all raw super potential. Frierson is another unknown.

At safety, we're loaded. 2 star seniors, 2 talented sophomores, and 2 veteran third stringers in Finley and Knowles. Gurvan is actually all that we really need for 2018, especially since we're reloading with Richards and sanguinetti in 2019 when redwine and Johnson graduate.

Agree with this to an extent. Knowles flat out doesn't belong here. Also if we do lose Jobe and get Samuel and/or Campbell then Frierson will most definitely be at safety FS to be exact. It's the position where he has the highest ceiling IMO. Can you imagine Frierson as a ballhawking FS with Hall at SS and Campbell and Blades/Young/Ivey on the outside with Bandy and Samuel at the Nickel? We can rotate Smith and Carter at the rover position with Hall and possibly Blades. The possibilities are endless. Then add the 2019 kids and it starts to get ridiculous.

As of last night at 10 pm when Pete put out his update and told us he had a spot. Maybe you guys should look at the time stamps on some of these posts before responding to them.
 
Asking how many DB's we take from this class is like asking how many smoking hot chicks should a guy should sleep with.


the only answer is... As many as we can get.
 
Miami would take 4 more including Jobe if they could get em all. They won't get em all, but the fellas they chasing at the top of their board are all fugging elite as sh*t.

Every one of Campbell, Ivey, Hall, Blades, Jobe, Surtain, and Samuels. You don't turn away "elite" talent when you are short on it and depth...
