The Domers bring back key players like Love and Faison, or are they largely rebuilding?

Depends on the Portal and coaching turnover.

They could win the championship this year...and be scraping the Top 25 next year if it takes them time to reload coaches and players.
That sounds right. Everything lined up for them to get to this title game. I wonder how many linemen they're losing.

They lose some really good players at many positions. Watts, Leonard, Kiser, Mills, leading TE, I think 3/4 of their starting DL (including Mills), starting nickel is gone.

Bring back obviously a good running back and full OL, multiple very good young corners, all of their starting WRs, plus they added Fields from UVA and then added the Stroman kid at Safety from VT.

Biggest question marks will be replacing all of their stars on defense, probably a step back on the DL, and then a first time starter at QB (it seems that way). Making a start on the road as well. If the environment is the same as the 2017 game in Hard Rock that could be a tall task.

Preseason top 5
I’ve seen a few preseason AP way too early projections and Miami came in 8-10 and ND 4-6.

Looks like an obvious college gameday selection. I would guess Josh Pate will be there too. A win, or even a close game, probably looking at the same situation when Florida comes in a few weeks later.

Good way to kick off the season.

I would personally put Miami at 8, ND at 3.

I don't know, but I've been saying I expect us to beat them.

Freeman is good for a big time loss once or twice a season, and Mario tends to play up/down to the competition.

It’s a young team. On paper, they will be better than this year. Only areas they need to address are QB and DT. Everywhere else, they are young, deep and talented.

As of right now? I’d be a little lower on both. ND loses a lot and we have many holes and no I would have to be sure Beck’s recovery goes 100% smooth
I wouldn’t say they’re losing a lot. They’ll be fine on D. They should plug someone in decent enough to replace Leonard.

Week 1 will be loaded and wasnt there talk our game could be moved to Monday so Gameday would probably go somewhere else for saturday but it would still be highlighted as only game played on Monday night. Lot of good games week 1 tho.

Texas @ Ohio State
Notre Dame @ Miami
Alabama @ FSU
LSU @ Clemson
TCU @ UNC

Also wonder if they will have a same coach but most likely agent getting that money right..
