The guy's vision and ability to hit the hole is one of the best of our generation. Dare I say Emmitt Smith like? Doesn't get old.

Yea but honestly I always think about what he could have been when I see him play

He has been a good NFL back despite being robbed of so much of his talent due to injuries

agree. but he is special still.

I don't think it's hyperbole to say he had the potential to be the greatest running back in modern NFL history pre-injuries. What he's done after two acls is nothing short of amazing, both in terms of production and longevity. He's the most natural runner since Barry.

Key is they need to keep him fresh and not use him too much. He was shot by the end of last year. Right now Jacobs and James are hurt and not playing but they'll help with carries along with Hunter. Plus the Niners passing game is light years ahead of a year ago so they won't rely on him as much. If he has his legs come playoff time watch out.

Such a natural Running Back. I agree that it's a privilege to have watched him for so long.

I hope Alex Smith doesn't keep him away from a Super Bowl ring.

Smith has been solid so far, granted its only been two weeks. I can definitely see the niners winning it with him at the helm as long as he doesn't turn it over and they continue to run and control the game. They have the Defense to repeat what Tampa Bay did with Brad Johnson and what Baltimore did with Dilfer.

Yup. "Special" gets thrown around a lot, but Gore's got it...2 acl's or not.

Probably my 2nd favorite Hurricane ever behind Mr. Reed.

As a Niners fan I couldn't be happier.

I remember some heated debates back when he was drafted too.

What he still does between the tackles is simply amazing to watch.
