How are we not after 3-4 LBers

Thread is filled with idiocy. Why the fu$$kk in this day and age do you want 12 lbs on your team? we've got 3 nfl players in their sophomore year. 3 veteran jrs backing them up. 3 studs from 2017 being groomed. At least 5 elite lbs in 2019 in play with 2 committed already. The only sane reason to take 4 lbs now is if you expect massive attrition. Otherwise, it's utterly retarded.

if you think zach mccloud is going into the NFL with his play so far

son..

as well as not seing anything from last years group to call anyone a STUD.
Should take a minimum of 2 in this class. The 2019 class should have no affect on what were doing now.

I cannot figure out how you arent taking 2+ every single cycle at that position.

You have to anticipate injury
You have to anticipate redshirt
You have to anticipate departure to the draft
You load your special teams up with line backers

Because we took 3 LB's 2 years in a row. There has to a be a year when you take only 2, the talent pool this year almost dictates it's only worth taking 1-2.

After watching that game today how is it that we are trying to flip one guy and just now trying to go after one more. From I saw today we ate slow and FcK at the position and Need AT LEAST three good ones.

As I said in another post, We are not the speedy converted safety to LB'er types of years past. Pickney can get there, but Shaq and McCloud are not good in space or getting wide. We need speed at all positions behind the DL. I keep in mind we are rebuilding.

Not even going to mention McCray.

Gordinier for the 2nd straight years has torn his ACL. He's likely never going to play at Miami.

Owens is a decent LB, but hardly great, same with Mike Smith.

Perry is a downgrade.

Pinckney and Shaq are NFL LBs. McCloud hasn't put it together.

Steed is in a red shirt year. Jennings and Wilder are on STs.

We have very little proven depth. After 2018 we're going to lose Smith, Owens (if both haven't been attrition candidates), McCray and possibly Pinckney and Shaq who will have NFL grades; and likely good ones.

You need depth in CFB. That's why you want 2 LB in this class.

I think this staff will wake up and make there moves before signing day, at least I hope.

I don't disagree, i just don't like the talent pool this year. I'm fine with Joyner and or Abdullah, but i wish we'd come up with a stud OOS option to fill the gap.

Wilder has the speed you are looking for, he should get worked into the rotation more next year I would think.

This staff is recruiting as if everyone will stay for 4 years. DT depth has the same issue. We are likely to lose 3. Richt has realize kids come here for 3 years.
