As DC? Proven coach, had top ten defenses nearly every year, solid recruiter, runs a simpler one gap front with a simpler zone blitz element behind it (it's basically the 4-3 single gap version of our cover 3 base).

Would love to get some like him. Did a great job at PSU.

Don't want that penn st ****. He runs a soft cover 2 scheme.

He doesn't have creative blitzes that's why penn st fans got tired of his soft zone a few years ago.

Very realistic option. He did some nice work at PUS and was also their recruiting coordinator. He's an older dude, but he's still very energetic and engaging from all the interviews I've heard with him.

Got a fire Goldens first Franchise. We're doomed if we don't fire Goldens. Get zone3 to fire Goldens.

I don't neg often, but when I do it's reserved for clueless posts like this. He runs Cover-3 and zone blitzes. Get a FCKING clue.

I would definitely take a look at him. When everyone was worried about Paterno leaving and Golden bolting right away, Bradley was the guy that was getting that job next, not Golden. He is highly regarded no matter what stats are about to be thrown out there.

What stats? Guy had top 10 scoring defenses 7 of 8 times, and top ten total defenses 5 of 8 times.

He runs a system that is a simpler, faster, more aggressive version of what we run now. It would be an easy transition, it is proven effective in modern football, and is basically the cover 3 base version of JJ's 4-3.

And he is a great recruiter whose career got derailed by stuff he had nothing to do with, and he's not coaching anywhere right now, and probably not super expensive.

I think he had a top 15 total defense and scoring defense for 6 or 7 straight years. Not too bad. If guys want to start throwing out stats to discredit this guy, I don't know how they'll work around that one.

**** you make a pretty good case

If we had that defense this year we'd be playing for the ship
