The student-athlete compensation model is set to change after Judge Claudia Wilken granted preliminary approval of the settlement in the House v. NCAA case. She is scheduled to hold her final approval hearing on April 7, 2025. If she approves the settlement, Power 4 schools will have the opportunity to share revenue with student-athletes starting with the 2025-26 school year. The cap for that student-athlete allocation is expected to fall between $20-22 million dollars per year.
In addition, going forward scholarship limitations are being replaced with roster limits for each sport, which will drastically change the scholarship structure...
Question for those who know a helluva lot more than I do:
Is the shared revenue in addition to NIL/Canes Connection?
