Everything seems sold out, ridiculously expensive, or too far.

Any ideas?

Find someone that may rent their house or condo. If a large group going for a few days can split and save. Will be much more comfortable to.

Go to Hotels.com, or one of the other such sites, and do a search using zip code 32828. That is the east side, near UCF and Waterford Lakes. Just did it and there are several hotels available for $60 to $80 a night. Found one for $45 and another for $64. You will be twenty to thirty minutes or so from the downtown where the game is.

try oviedo area over around ucf and water ford lakes as mentioned. about 30 minutes away.

I live in Lake Mary. There are a good amount of nice and safe hotels in Altamonte Springs, Lake Mary, and Sanford/Heathrow. All of these are 20/25 minutes max from the Citrus bowl. You will also not have to pay for tolls if you get one around there. The team usually stays at the Hilton Orlando/Altamonte Springs.

Just steer clear of any hotels near John Young and I-4 or worse OBT and I-4; those are super close to the stadium but in really bad neighborhoods, and literally walking distance to the city jail.

LOL.....its chritmas in Orlando.....its always busy..
tons of hotels around the parks for $80 bucks...

The teams official hotel's are always in International Dr area not anywhere near Altamonte Spgs. For capital One it's Renaissance by Sea World

When Miami came to UCF they stayed at the hotel I mentioned above. I lived across the street so ... anyways goodluck getting a nice hotel in a safe area.

My sister lives there on a lake, about 15 minutes from the stadium. Makes it that much more convenient. :)

Hotels will be committing man on man rape anytime theres a bowl game.

That was for UCF the Bowl committee sets team hotels ahead of time.

Just make sure you don't get a hotel in Metro West, Pine Hills or anything along Orange Blossom Trail and/or John Young Pkwy and you'll be straight.
