Last time I parked at the convention center and took a bus. It literally took an hour in traffic to get to the game and was miserable.

Still looking for some good suggestions for parking and/or more reasonable shuttle experience.

Just bought my parking pass today and parking around the stadium is getting scarce. They still had some in Lot 1, about two blocks from the stadium, and in another a few blocks west of the stadium on the other side of the expressway. If those sell out you will have to park downtown and shuttle to the stadium. The guy I talked to said that they may open the Geico Garage, which is the large parking garage next to the Amway Center. This would be maybe eight blocks or so from the stadium. As for hotels, your best bet is to go to some website like hotels.com and do a search. You can really stay as far away as Kissimmee or Claremont and be fine. You can still be where you need to be in 30 to 45 minutes. If you cannot find anything even Cocoa or Daytona is only a bit over an hour away.

Also, when looking at hotels in the area, look at the UCF area. Yes, it is on the other side of town but hopping on the 408 you can be across town in no time and the hotels are probably a bit cheaper near the university.
