I knew before looking CBS would be dead wrong, but obviously I had to look...let me say HA HA HA...HAAA

it shoudn't take a genius to know that somehow getting this team bowl eligible the last 2 years, showing a pronounced level of success in recruiting, and just overall being the f*ck*ng MAN should show there ain't NO WAY his "hot seat rating" should be anything other than a big fat ZERO.

His guidance of this program on and off the field is all but the equivalent of a BCS championship in my opinion. What this program has had to endure is unprecedented, I don't care about SMU or PSU or washington or any of them...Miami is the media's favorite when the going is good (for the most part) and then they will pile on when the going gets tough. almost makes too much sense that a-roid went to UM. The fact this man has righted the ship in only 2 yrs, to me, is unbelievable. I will forever remember where I was when I watched his introductory press conference in the same way I remember losing my virginity. Yeh this guy is a god.

i get it bruh

but the ship hasnt been "righted" quite yet. this season will tell ALOT. we do anything worse than 8 wins and then you can mention golden on the hot seat.

I don't think they are wrong. He isn't on the Hot Seat ratings but I don't think he falls under "Very Safe" either outside of that contract extensions to 2020 we set up. But then again, we bought Randy out.

Did you ignore the rating system? It says 2012, "Safe, but you never know" and 2013 was "Very safe, change unlikely" with regard to Al Golden.

I can't disagree with you on the 8 wins. But right now, I can only see less than 8 wins if we have a rash of injuries to important players (morris, duke, denzel) and in that case I'm not sure those circumstances put him in the hot seat.

This is a unique situation, in a way with everything that's gone on he has built in excuses, yet what impressed me so much is that he refuses to use those 'distractions' as excuses, he coaches the players and leads the staff as a group that needs to always fce adversity head on. Now that all shannon's weak minded boys are basically out, this team is starting to resemble it's sensai

didnt ignore...just do not see how he has anything next to him.

So it's really based on 2013 outcome. I'd say Muskrat is more at risk at Florida and he was given a 0.5. This will most likely be the 3rd year in a row he loses to his alma mater and fails to win the SEC East.

I keep forgetting Muschamp went to UGA. Lulz. Makes his irate behavior and 1000 yd stare funnier.

If Golden doesn't win 10 games this year I'll personally set his seat on fire.

Yeah i don't get it, he has a 1.0. While in reality it probably is a 0, its not really a big error.

This hypersensitive **** regarding the media is going to stop.

It's going to stop because I'm addressing it.
