If you were Golden, and you wanted to show someone how well your team could play on any given day... what game film would you choose to show them? What game would you send out there and say: "Look how good we can be when we're on our A game!!"

I honestly can't think of one. Not one game out of 13 where I would say.. "****... we really put it all together today."

I guess the answer is USF?

I know we fumbled at the 1 yard line twice, but that was pretty dominant despite how bad USF was this year.

Other than that... it's pretty horrible pickings. You could make the case that UF, GT, UNC, Wake, FSU, VT, Duke, UVA, Pitt, and Lville all actually out played us and would certainly feel confident they would beat us in a rematch

I don't think Golden thought once this season "look how good we can be on any given day." Well, at least I hope he didn't. There were major gaffs in every game and I think Golden himself knew that we weren't the team that we were being made out to be when we were sitting at 7-0.
 
I actually debated the FSU game.

It may be the best we looked all season. Certainly in the first half. Our best game may have been a game we lost by 4 touchdowns. LMAO
 
I would say Florida...even though florida sucks we got the best of them when they were fully healthy...Florida's players kept getting hurt particularly on defense
Yes their offense is wack but we got the best of who they were and we dominated..

TO skilled positions..>I can't see how you look at Coley and Duke and not want to be featured with them...
Stephen is gone...I would want to take over...we at least try to get our athletes the ball..

The UF game was pretty good indicator we could play and hold up to whoever if we brought it

Looking back later I the season though the win lost some luster of course
 
that is why I keep saying mostly to myself how bad this team really was and how lucky we were to win 9 games....
 
I think we played terribly vs Florida. Gave up their best yardage output of the season. And our offense pretty much gained nothing for nearly 3/4 of the game.

Of teams that played Florida, we are in the lower 25% for sure
