I remember him lining up in trips left during the second quarter near the end zone. Have we seen this formation before? I wanna see that giant catch a pass!

I noticed that play too, I think it was a decoy as we ran to the other side or passed to the other side (don't remember which). I'm sure we have a few plays drawn up in that formation. A few years ago we did a play like that with Jason Fox, I believe he caught a screen pass from the trips formation and either scored a TD or got pretty close to scoring one.

^beat me to it.

On that play we threw to the opposite tight end, who (shockingly) dropped it.

Like it was said, the ball ended up being thrown to Cleveland and was dropped, it would have been a tough catch but it was there for the taking.

The play you're thinking of was against FSU when Nix (barf) was calling the plays...we were down late, it was raining, I can't remember what year it was.

We came out in a similar set against FSU last year IIRC and got a TD toss to Walford right in the middle of the field. He was left wide open.

Seantrel wasn't even an elidgeable receiver on that play. The formation just aligned him farther from the ball. We sometimes ran a package in high school that was similar.

it was just a polecat formation. Just to confuse the D for an easy touchdown, mess with the D assignment and alignment and sneak the TE out for easy points. Too bad our TE are not very good

He has better feet and is more athletic than both TE's we use. Probably has better hands too. He was a **** of a basketball player in HS.

Henderson wouldn't have been a target to catch a pass. He was gonna be a blocker the whole way.

It's a formation where if the numbers are right, we throw it that way for an easy TD (not to Henderson). Like another poster said, he wasn't even eligible that play.
