What's up with the Larson kid? He's a 18 kid correct? I just see him lauding the U on Twitter, but it seems as if he isn't a legit prospect in D1 programs eyes quite yet. Has anyone watched him play? I'm interested to know whether he may be a take at some point in the future.

Larson not UM caliber. Blackmond and Q. Allen are must haves.

Have you seen him play? I haven't but he is attending junior day and I have a hard time writing off a kid who is only a sophomore in high school when Miami thinks enough to him to invite him to Jr. day. Could be a candidate as a pref walk on too. With a GPA like his he'll probably get an academic scholly.

I saw him pumping miami up like crazy like some kind of motivation speaker like a year ago and was wondering who he was, he seems like a huge fan but he is just tiny and I don't really see what purpose he serves us. Kind of confused how he got an invite to Jr Day unless they want him in some kind of walk on role.

He is really small. The highlights don't necessarily jump out at you. But you would think the size thing works itself out. As a sophomore I would expect him to at least grow another couple inches, which would be fine if he were a RB. His huddle page says he is, but it looks like most of his current PT is on defense/special teams. I like that CMR is at least keeping him on the radar. Can't hurt to form a relationship and monitor his progression.

Smart move by CMR. You cannot have enough kids like this around the program. Perfect player to have at Junior Day events with all his excitement and love for Miami. He is only a sophomore so a million things could change. For example there was an article I read the other day about how scrawny, awkward, and non athletic Ahmmon Richards was early in high school. Then he obviously put in a ton of work to get to the point of where he's at now. Even if this kid turned into a Dallas Crawford type, aka a special teams specialist I would love having someone like him to sell the program.
