At the risk of sounding petty, I have to say it irks me that Dillon Gabriel is a finalist. It's only because he's playing for the #1 team right now.
Any other year, no athlete like Travis Hunter or individual skill guy like Jeanty, Cam wins this award, hands down...

I was thinking the same thing actually. He’s going to be a **** of an ambassador for The U. If we get Mateer I’m sure he will be a key reason why

He said he’s over it and doesn’t care just added it was their decision to leave out the best QB and best offense
Agree. Most other years, Cam is the overwhelming winner. His stats stand up to the previous QB winners and our record isn't that different from USC in 2022 and LSU in 2023. It just happened that his big year was at the same time there was a two way star and nearly record setting RB.
I think if we stayed undefeated, he still would have won. He was the betting favorite before our GT loss.

Vegas has told us for two months Hunter will win. No drama here.
There is no they give trophy to Cam , they just don’t have it in them especially Midwest voters
