I fully expect both posters and the staff to be excited about obvious bag casualties late into the process for eternity around here. Hopefully some folks will learn that it doesn’t matter what wristbands a kid is wearing or how often the local kids are on our campus and we can avoid some of these thousand post frenzies and the resulting crying about a kid that was never coming here heading to kkk country. Why wouldn’t they take the free gear and the chance to hang out on a college campus, get real, that **** means nothing. The Stevenson announcement is just another in a long line of recruiting losses that were quite obvious to some, yet the staff and this sites writers for whatever reason couldn’t see it coming despite the combination of track record and indicators smashing them in the face repeatedly.

There is a difference between optimism and naivety, we seem to have more of the latter with regards to the local kids.
