Haskins,Tua, Murray ...and Perry

Not going to lie, two of those might be 2 of the best ever to walk on to a college field in Tua and Kyler...if Kyler would stay then it would be a definite.

Kinda hard to ask any QB to live up to that.

What? It’s not Richt’s fault that Kosi isn’t Tua or Kyler...both of them have had legendary seasons. They’re literally comparing Kyler to Bo Jackson already because they anticipate him to play both baseball and football. No QB is living up to both these guys just like no QB has been able to live up to Tebow.

Don’t discount the referees allowing bamas DB’s to hold OU’s WR’s all over the field. They tend to get away with it in this type of game.

Lol if you think Kosi plays like Kirby Freeman then you need to watch the 2006 Idaho Potato bowl. I was a young teen but was old enough to remember Kirby very well unfortunately.

Bruh...Tua is going to light up Oklahoma's defense like every other B12 team did this year, last year and year before. It is no secret OK and the entire B12 have decided to abandon playing defense to focus more on offense/heismans. Getting rid of stoops (a defensive minded coach) is also an indication. Murray is not or never putting up EA Sports numbers against BAMA or most SEC schools with the system he is in now.

Tua coming for his Heisman.

What do you mean his heisman? He lost his Heisman when he had to be pulled because he got hurt and Jalen won the game. Did you really think he was going to win it? My lord this board needs some sort of filtration system.
 
Georgia didn’t win the SEC title game, but still managed to take the Heisman away from Tua.

As for the OP’s point, the answer is no. Perry will never play to the level achieved by those QBs.

Yes. He was going to win it but like you said, he got hurt and pulled from SEC champ game. So, the committee deducted points. Kyle avenged his lost to Texas, won B12 champ and put up great numbers. Both kids were deserving. But make no mistake. Tua and Saban are going to show the committee who the real winner was...

Unfortunately for Murray, he's going against the significantly more difficult defense than Bama; whereas Tua gets to go against OU's defense. That's why the latter's numbers will look better.

Why are people getting hard over Bamas defense like it’s some godly creature. Have they even faced an elite offense? Georgia was gashing them with simple motions and shallow crosses. What do you think an actually offensive genius in Lincoln Riley will do?

So what is your point? This is the kind of matchup we dream of. Two great teams. Two great QBs. Two different systems. Only one system and one team can win regardless.

Yes they are...UGA handled that secondary for 3 quarters. What do you think OU is gonna do to it? They’re gonna have to double Hollywood because they don’t have anyone who could go 1 v. 1 with him.

That when you say Tua's going to burry Murray, it should be noted the difference of degree in difficulty that each QB is going against.
