Has Golden and Coley ever looked back in the past?

The reason I ask is this. I was digging through the Archives and by Archives I mean YouTube and stumbled upon this.

If you watch this vid, #11 Virginia got DOMINATED on the ground not necessarily by a scatback like Duke Johnson, but by a pretty banged up (but still pretty great) Gore. Berlin wasn't taking deep shots all over the **** field into coverage, simply taking what the Cavs D gave them with nickel and dimes. The Play action was effective and they STILL didn't take too many shots on O til Roscoe chicken and waffles TD late to put the game out of reach. I know we wanna be explosive EVERY play but with a hobbled morris, a RB stable that has this board on freak out mode and a questionable receiving corp, but lets simply take what VTechs D gives us this week and the rest of the season. the level of predictability is scary and the only time we got functioning this season is when we not.

You may be wondering why I picked this game in particular right? Simple.

Al Golden was Virginias Defensive Coordinator at this time.

Thanks for the read,

LET'S GO CANES!

UVA was #11 at any point in the last 25 years! How do I not remember them even being ranked in the top 25?

The will score at will after moving up and down the field, then they'll go hug some nuts until they get soft shoulders.

Throughout the video I kept thinking "they are calling an excellent game".
Who was the OC for that year?

Also, there were a **** of lot of future pros in that game. Probably that last time we were so stacked with talent.

My biggest take away from that is how well the FB was used in the passing game. If used in our current offense, Mo havens would be beastly and it will allow him to show off that stiff arm that was so devastating in high school

I was going to post the same. When in the world were.they number 11? I don't remember this.

Who was on that squad? Always thought the most talented VA team we played was in 97 or whatever year in the Micron PC bowl. 2008 Virginia game has been erased from memory also.

I remember that 97 squad... Thomas Jones #6 was a monster ... Had my brother pops crying when he single handily destroyed FSU which led to me crying in laughter
