Lived up to his pre-arrival hype the way that Duke has?

This kid is the real deal and the perfect building block for the resurgence of this program!

too bad he needs some more help....him and james been a nice 2....hope Go Gatah feeds them the ball more.....

Frank was/is awesome.....but he wasn't asked to reserect a once great program. Duke will go down as one of the greats to come through Coral Gables!

And Gore did most of his damage in mop up duty. Duke is on another level right now. He hits the hole better than any RB we have had in quite some time and his vision is special.

Hate saying this but Maurice clarett was pretty **** good as a freshmen.. Know I'm gunna go wash my mouth out with soap.

I'm thinking F Gore also. On Defense, I remember A Rolle being pretty stout as a Freshman and a clear leader (which this team lacks)

I remember that one big game he had and the old Canesport magazine (newspaper style) got to my post office box about 5 weeks later with him on the cover. Thought he and Omar Rolle were gonna take us to the promised land, smh. Fairly sure I even remember getting recruiting updates on him from the old Prep Star phone service (heh, sorry bout those phone bills, Mom and Dad). That's back when I was the Peter Ariz version of myself.

The best part is that Duke finally looks healthy again, has that burst back. It's great to see a young RB initiate contact and have the ability to consistently push the pile forward.
