I will say that there’s no way this kid visits if Manny is still HC. It’s most likely just a vacation but starting to get kids like this on campus is what starts changing the culture. Mario has the respect on the recruiting trail that Manny didn’t.

In the fall, when Perkins was considering his last 3 OV's, he said he might, 'Go to Miami and hang out with Coach Ish.' (I believe I read that when I had a Rivals/CaneSport subscription.) He released a top 7 in September, which did not include UM.
I don't get it about announcing to one school and then visiting 3 others. I am not getting any hopes up whatsoever. But I guess if he's on campus with Mario and Ish, there's some kind of chance of a triple bank shot from 94'.

Do I think he's coming to Miami? Absolutely not. But keep in mind Skinner was actively recruiting for Bama after his last OV to us and days up to him flipping. Anything can happen with Mario at the wheel.

Yeah he wanted to get out there. I told patke this personally and he didn’t believe me. I think it’s way too late but he was very interested and it was real

Smh… I can kind of understand why he didn’t , but what does it hurt to actually check? Probably wouldn’t have mattered, with the way our season ended. Still have to see what’s what if you told him there was interest.
