Handling Success This Year...the biggest key

Biggest key to this season I believe is how we handle success. If we can handle it the right way, shut out ALL the noise, players shut off their **** Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, stay humble with the media on their jockstrap and I believe we can win EVERY game. My last year when I was a student at Miami, 2009, when we started 2-0, we deservedly got heaps of praise from the media, the campus just had that old school Miami buzz, and we finished that season in disappointing fashion. I believe Al Golden is the anti-Shannon in that regard...he won't let our boys get ahead of themselves and get big headed...My fellow Canes....we are in for a special season and I really can't wait for it to start. This will be a season to remember ala 2000 when we re started our domination of college football.

Different team, different coach....I don't believe this is going to be an issue. Guys like Duke and SM are way too humble, IMO.

Bull****.

Biggest issue this season is having success to begin with. No one outside of this board is seriously predicting a BCS run.

Handle success? Might not be a problem after the second game.

If we beat the Gatas, I assume Al has this, and we don't need to worry about the team losing control thereafter.

Bigger question: How will the team handle watching a *** QB in Driskel look like a Heisman winner, and Morris looking like he has against KSU, ND, FSU, UNC et al.

Seriously. Handling success would be a welcome problem for the Canes.

i have no doubt we'll be successful this season. i just think we can take it to another level and make it a very special season if we don't let it get to our heads. that's all
