Halftime Thoughts

Its pretty much exactly what a realistic fan would have expected. Morris looks good but still staring down receivers way too much.

Its all about the Duke baby.
 
We have a lot of young players so everyone needs to be patient. Out of position, not lining up correctly, etc. should have been expected when rotating guys in and out.

Hopefully D'Onofrio will make some adjustments at half and right the ship.
 
Told you guys we would suck. Nice to see our offense minus our WR's do well. Our defense blows ****.

Yeah our receiving corps is just devoid of any real talent. Its why I voted for Streeter in that poll. Lots of solid guys but nothing that stands out.

Spot on. If this continues there will be a lot of nail biters this season.

Yeah. Feel bad for Thompkins but he had his chance. I am glad Scott got a chance to turn it around.

Where is Grimble and Pierre? Put O'Donnell in. Need something on the D-line.
 
Offensive play looks ok, got some jitters to work through.

Defense I expected more from. They look weak. No pass rush, middle of the field is always open, no run defense. If we stop them for about 5 yds atatime it's success. We have a few bright spots but mostly poor play on d.

Agree. I dont think Vernon would make a big difference in this game. They would double team him and take him out of the game.

Yeah Scott is a physical presence. Hopefully its just jitters. Forget sometimes how young we are but every guy they show is a god**** freshman.
 
I am eager to see how we come out of halftime. Hopefully they can figure out how to get some sort of pressure in the backfield.

Safety and DL play was awful, need to do something (blitz, change of personnel, whatever). WRs need to get their **** together. Scott particularly has been disappointing. Thompkins needs to sit, forever.
