I think it means that if you hire a person with a show cause and they do something wrong under your watch, everyone including that person will be hit with the NCAA's wrath... It basically give schools fair warning of 'CAUTION' and 'BACK THE F*** UP' from this person.

Chip Kelly got hit with it after he accepted the Eagles job, I believe... He's more concerned with counting his NFL paychecks than to worry about a college issued 'show cause'. This is why I believe that the ruling should follow coaches where ever they go... The NFL got Terrelle Pryor with it, why not the coaches too? Someone has to be accountable.
