Was watching this year's UM Sports HOF speeches and:

Gore: Talked about being committed to Ole Miss and a combination of UM assistants working hard recruiting him and him wanting to be close to his ailing mother is what got him here.
Hester: Talked about his mother wanting him to go to UM to stay close to his brother who was going to FIU (possibly to play football, I don't remember).

My point is, not everybody is gonna come to UM solely or mainly because they bleed Orange & Green. They might have practical reasons. As long as they give the program their all when they get to Coral Gables, as Hester & Gore did, I'll root them on just the same. And I promise if you ask Gore & Hester today, regardless of their reasons for coming to UM in the first place, they'll tell you they bleed Orange & Green now.

I would love it if a kid is like Deejay or Lingard during their recruitment, but if not it ain't a deal-breaker.

Show how much you want to be a Cane on Greentree and in Hard Rock Stadium.

Just evaluate them well, get em in the program and lets go from there.

There allalready attention whores by fresh year in HS its there drug. Trust me its hard to get used to not getting the attention if u fall off.

And Brevin Jordan. Worst thing is that 3 of those 4 cats aren't even from South Florida. Our ambassadors are from somewhere else. Sad!
