My flight is booked, my lodging is set, now what's the best way to get tickets to a game that is supposedly 'sold-out'?

Do I just grab my ankles and go on Stub Hub or scalp tickets at the game( which I think is risky with fakes floating around)?

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated....

If you want guarantees you better just go ahead and start getting naked. I suggest calling the Miami ticket office first. Stub hub or ticketmaster after that.

Tried StubHub for the first time. Got a decent seat for an OK price. Fees are a little steep, but they "guarantee" the ticket.

I bought front row seats for last seasons game in Atlanta for the GT game from stub hub & got sent the wrong tix. I called up stub hub and told them what happened & I got sen the correct ones I ordered in the front row which was sweet. I had seats at the 10 yard line down by the CANES corner at the GT game where the team came down & celebrated the OT win. What a great game experience for my birthday & my wife's first ever CANES game. Now my wife is hooked on going to the games & we will be in Tally for the FSU game this year.

I usually get mines off stubhub every year the 1st day that they become available during the spring (cause thats the lowest price)So it only cost me 80 for a seat in section 126. Stub hub is legit but I'd venture to say they're expensive this late in the game

buy season tix, you may end up paying as much for one game as the entire season, i only paid $165.00, and i have a ticket to all 7 games, how is that not worth it?

This is probably your best bet & if you can't make it to the others you can always sell them.

Do this, then donate the tickets you're not going to use to the local Boys & Girls Club and write it off of your taxes. Everyone wins.

I run into that kind of situation, it just depends on how many tickets i need. If i need 3+ tickets for the family and want to be choosey about what section I'm putting all of us in, I grab my ankles and use stubhub.

If it's just me and a buddy or two, I'll scalp and at worst we grab a couple single seats on the cheap.

Just bought 4 tickets on stubhub for section 139. Paid 900 all together with shipping and taxes. Never sat in 139 hows the view?

I said this in another thread, but I'll say it here. Prices on stubhub almost always go down as it closer to the game. If you can wait, I'd be they'll drop once the people selling start freaking out that they haven't sold their tickets yet.

If you've got the stomach for it, wait it out as long as you can. You'll get raped trying to buy tix now. This is when the scalpers and gougers like Stub Hub make all their money off the suckers.
