Gus vs Yearby Pass Blocking ?

For those of you that have been to any of the open practices - do you have a view on Gus and Yearby's pass blocking?
- I heard that W Mcgahee didn't play early bc he struggled in picking up the blitz

Everyone seems to blitz Miami the past few years ---- my guess is that will only increase with the Frosh playing

PS What is the over under on number of weeks before someone says "golden only plays the seniors?" ???

Well someone posted on WEZ that Gus is ahead of Yearby on the depth chart. If true, I suspect pass blocking is the reason why.
 
Very good question to bring up. One of the least talked about aspects of an offense. Frank Gore has extended his NFL career and value to the 49ers by becoming one of the best in the league in all aspects of playing the running back position.

Same with Clinton Portis...as a matter of fact, Portis was often 20-30 yards downfield making blocks for receivers' YACs
