Mario seems to have more loyalty to and concern for the coaches he hired than he does to the program. No justification to keep these failed coordinators around while the job hunt like he has done in the past and is doing now with Guidry. Every day Guidry is around it hurts the program.

It's semantics on whether he's "fired" or "moves on to another opportunity" but if Guidry returns as the DC for next season, Mario will lose the confidence of Cane Nation and I will be a couple of bad losses away from pronouncing Mario permanently damaged goods and it will be time to move on.

Fair enough. If Vernables is on the hot seat entering next year, I don't see why Mario isn't. They basically have the same record, with no bowl wins, and no CFP appearances...

And if I'm being honest, having the #1 offense doesn't persuade me he hit on Dawson. It's hard to explain why I feel this way. I think it's lack of creativity. Old school air raid routes with a **** good qb.
