NFL Draft Grown man crying on other men’s shoulders on national TV

It's not war. It's a sport. Guy hurt his knee.

They're all multi-millionaires playing a game for a living while living like demigods in society.

Worst case: gets insurance payout, medically retired, pension, healthcare for life.

Crying about it is pretty weak.

What is the matter with some of you on CIS?

First, why do we need to comment on everything that happens in sports? Why does OP even have an opinion on this?
Freedom of speech also includes the freedom not to express an opinion. Dell’s injury and Stroud’s reaction has nothing to do with any of us, and nothing to do with the Canes.

Second, nothing in this conversation should invite homophobic comments. Men crying is not a homosexual attribute.

My post was deleted, aimed at Bird... not Stroud.

But whatever, yes was serious about that.
You were serious that you thought the using the word “f****t” was appropriate on CIS?
Well it is not under any circumstances.
That I am having to explain this is absurd.

Act like an adult and were raised by human parents.

I agree, men being able to show/ have emotion is a good thing. I wasn't referring to Stroud at all, in fact was defending him.
If you disagree with my comment that's fine, but there are multiple other comments in this thread, including OP that aren't being deleted.
Just saying.

Not one of you would cry if your own son broke his leg in a game.

Unless your livelihood was depending on him. Which sucks for you.
My son broke his leg freshman year of soccer, tore his ACL his sophomore year, and then tore it again his junior year. I shed a few tears because I felt so bad for the kid. Watching him work so hard to get back repeatedly just to lose it all again was rough

What does this even mean lol
It means that a guy getting injured in combat for western business interests isn’t any more of a sympathetic figure than a millionaire football player. You’re ****ting on a guy shedding tears for a friend that nearly died not too long ago suffering a set back from a potentially catastrophic injury because “it’s not war”, like what the **** is that? I can only assume you think this way because of your affiliation with the US marines and the government handing you a rifle at 18 and filling your head with BS to the point that nothing else can compare.

If you lament that these guys are treated like “demigods” in society maybe you should hop off this board then because you’re only adding to the glorification of these 17 and 18 year olds choosing to attend and play for your favorite school and football team.

I don’t like the thread personally but Maude’s generally delete and sometimes infract for homophobic insults. It’s not a matter of whether we agree or disagree with the sentiment behind your response but @AtlAtty is correct in that it’s against the rules if we’re going by the book.
