Greg Cote: “Canes Got a Raw Deal"

Regardless of what happened at Syracuse the Canes should never be behind THREE LOSS Alabama. Committee needs to reconsider and make things right.

I'm not necessarily mad that we got left out, I'm upset that it's Bama that jumped us. Getting skull ****ed by an abysmal Oklahoma team should've been an immediate disqualifier, especially with it being their 3rd loss. If anyone should be in over us it should be USCe. They're playing some **** good football and easily could've been 11-1 this year if not for getting screwed by the refs vs LSU and some questionable calls vs Bama.

I would say this is also why they are trying so hard to protect themselves with manipulating Bama in the playoffs.

I'd love to see ND destroy them, if that should be the matchup.
Yep. It's the reason they kept missouri in the rankings all year despite them being dog****. To make the teams that beat them (namely Bama) look better.

Neither does Alabama. Not one of the at large teams are dominant or flawless, so why not us? Otherwise, make it a 6 team playoff.
I’d be able to stomach being behind a three loss Bama, if they didn’t just manhandled by Oklahoma. If the committee watched that game and said that they are playoff team, then it didn’t matter what we did. The fix is in. I think SMU is screwed if they don’t win too.

They absolutely are. The gooftroop committee chair already said it, essentially. If SMU loses, they'll say it's to an average Clemson team, and they'll drop them to #12 and out.

They dropped Miami from #6 to #12 for losing a true road game to a ranked team by 4.

You don't think they'll drop SMU from #8 to #12 for losing a neutral site game to the 17th ranked team?

SMU is gonna get ****ed royally if they lose. Watch. The SEC is getting their 4 in, period. Sankey will kill all these people's families if he only gets 3 in while the B1G gets 4.

Alabama, Tennessee, UGA and Texas are IN. I don't care if SMU loses 28-27 on a last second 65 yard field goal, the ACC is only getting 1 team in.

I do not understand the statement that any team not playing this weekend cannot change their status. That makes no sense in terms of calculating SOS for other teams, etc...

Indiana's best win is Michigan? They lost late in the year. The Buckeyes lost their last game when favored by 23. No clue why they get a free pass

I 100% agree. Here’s how you know it’s bad, I live in the heart of SEC country and even they realize the fix is in. What bothers me a lot about this whole selection committee, even the CBB committee, is no schools should have a seat at the table. I realize it’s impossible to get a 100% unbiased opinion. But having the freaking AD of Michigan chairing this committee is a **** joke. Gee, I wonder why they only dropped the team who lost to Michigan four spots? And that idiot saying Bama has more T25 wins, based on what? The arbitrary rankings they produce? The whole system is a joke and driven purely by money.
