Great Podcast Talking About How High Cam Ward Could Rise In NFL Draft 👀

Regardless of what round he gets picked, there's no doubt he's a NFL caliber QB.

He's got a better arm than Jalen Hurts & Caleb Williams, with really good pocket awareness & elusive footwork while evading oncoming rushers.

The thing he'll have to work on the most & is just throwing the ball away when the play isn't going anywhere. But overall, he's got every tool necessary to be a good NFL starter. His natural intangibles are off the charts & his arm talent is on that top tier echelon of NFL QB's.

Just hope he gets drafted to a good situation like the Rams, where he could take over after Stafford retires.

He also transcends. Deebo just hit the cam celly after his td. It’s been a minute since a Cane had this kind of clout.

Would love to see him go into a good situation which would mean if he’s a 1st rounder it’s a later pick. As bad as I want to say the Dolphins, I’m not sure the OL constitutes it as ‘good’. System and weapons? Yes.

Maybe the 49ers move from Purdy instead of pay him. If the Steelers are still trying to find the right guy and not sold on Fields. Cam reminds a lot of people in that franchise of Ben the way the play is never over no matter what the pocket looks like. Lions could upgrade their QB situation.

Afraid it could end up Panthers, Titans, Giants, Browns, or some other QB graveyard.

RAIDERS.

I think it would be best for him to sit early on unless its a really good situation.

If he can stay on schedule consistently, play with better anticipation consistently, cut down the hero ball until its needed. Better pocket presence, he has a bad habit of dropping his eyes and bailing on clean pockets when he could just move a little and get to his next progression

All this is stuff he has shown he’s capable of he just has to do it more consistently because the game is much faster in the nfl

He's the best pro QB prospect we've had since Testaverde. Could do big things in the right situation.
The issue is first QBs taken off the board typically don’t go to the right situation. ****** teams in the NFL don’t have great OLines. That’s why you see a lot of these guys struggle. Plus, rookies used to sit behind veterans for a couple years before becoming the guy. Aaron Rodger’s/Brett Favre situation.

I hope he’s taken off the board as early as possible because it looks great for the program. But I also hope he goes somewhere that has decent protection/weapons.

He’s going to have a long successful NFL career

He’s got elite physical talent but even more importantly he’s smart and has that intangible work ethic thing that the great ones have

He treats the game like he’s a walk on
