I see a poor mans Alex Smith. Good game manager, good feet, poise, but a weak arm.

This guy competing with Nkosi and 1 other wouldn't be horrible.

Oh I thought you were talking about our QB1 leaving after this year.

King? I think there is a decent chance he comes back if he wants to play QB in the NFL. Right now some team might use a very late round pick on him as an athlete, but probably not with QB in mind. He needs another good year of production to show he can consistently make NFL throws. I love the season he's been having, but he didnt quite shine this season when the lights were brightest.

He's a poor game manager. His TD to INT ratio is around 1.5. That's not good.

Watched him a few times. He’s not terrible but I think we can do better, if we need to.

ok, watched his tape.

if those were the clips of a 17 year old high school kid entering his senior season, i would say he's definitely interesting and worth a further look. but as a 21 year old 5th year senior, his upside and ability relative to the QB room is limited.

nothing here screams out at me: "sit TVD next year so this kid can be QB1"

Maybe for depth if he's ok with sitting behind TVD.
But doubt a 5th year senior would transfer to be a backup.
