I'll update as I sift through the interview.

Al said:

- We were 3 for 6 yesterday. So that means that DK did not have an offer.
- Focus on the Ones we got (great)
- Talks glowingly about our class.
- Feels bad for the kids we had to face all the negativity about the kids we didn't get.
- Talked about how many kids we targeted at each position and admitted we missed on 1 RB, 1 LB and DT.
- In terms of need......absolutely loves this class.
- Went strong against the critics of his South Florida recruiting.
- Doesn't want to play Russian roulette on signing day again. (Hat Game)
- Couldn't over sign this year
- Self imposed scholarship limit and official visits (only 27 this year)
- Wants to be here forever.
- FSU and FLA took 1 kid in dade and broward last year and they get a free pass?
- Doesn't take personal $$ for Al Golden football camps.
- Talked about BTW relationships and how he has to keep working on relationships with all coaches.
- Said Coach D and Barrow were at BTW 12 times since last December. (6 per year) and he went twice. (1 per year per regs)
- Starting to "understand" the dynamic down here.
- Ask current players parents if they "trust" him with their kids. Proof is in the pudding.
- Will continue to work on DT for THIS CLASS. Late qualifiers and JUCO.
- Is sitting at his desk right now working on 2014 class.....promised himself he wouldn't do it.

Sounds like a pretty honest assessment and acknowledgement of what needs to improve. Refreshing.

If the haters in the area don't win, meaning some of the area coaches and cats like luke, he will win at Miami.

Shout out to C4L. I guess AG isn't so thrilled with our depth at DT.

What's left out there for DT?

I haven't been a fan of any of Golden's late pulls at all.
 
Ice and Luke need to stop running to QAM when they have a problem and pick up the phone and call Golden. This is not what professionals do and makes everyone look bad. Golden is making these clowns look stupid

"Starting to understand the dynamic down here" = starting to realize he has to deal with a bunch of corrupt @ss coaches who are looking for something to push players to certain schools.

I think everyone knows that it can be improved. He's not just going to sign a big body for the sake of it though. If he can find someone that improves the roster he'll offer a scholarship.

That's the key line. Basically the ****** coaches that are still mad Shannon got fired can suck a fat one.

Dude I never said we werent looking for DTs. I think its obvious we wanted to take at least one DT this year, and I think we needed to. I also said THIS is the year to take a JUCO, since many of the young guys are still young, and it lets you RS maybe one or two of them. What I said was it makes no sense to just take some "plan B" guy, because we have a decent number of those types of guys already on board. If you find a JUCO who can be an immediate impact guy NOW, then **** yes you take him, I think it was obvious we wanted that this year. What I DONT think they want, is to take a plan B guy as an incoming Frosh. I think they wanted quality, and when that left, they closed it up. Which is why we didnt see them going after many HS DTs beyond Bostwick and Bryant this year.
