Golden says anyday now Gus Edwards will be cleared

I won't believe he will be cleared until he is cleared. After all, that four letter word is before the word 'clearinghouse'. I'd lay even money the kid doesn't play against FAU not because of anything on his part, but just because anything associated with the NCAA that has to do with us turns into a clusterf@ck.
Good luck to Gus. He's a guy I'm interested in seeing getting some time this year. See what he can do

OP u post a lot of threads lately with information that is already known.... I mean Al Golden said it yesterday in his interview that Gus Edwards was going to be cleared, that it had nothing to do with academics but it was a NCAA issue thats not a big deal.
 
Read the Edwards article then read the Eduardo Clements article.
Really rooting for Clements. Tough to accept for a star high school 4 star recruit that The NFL is not a realistic future.
Golden seems to love him. Looks like he will be a Graduate Assistant for us after this year.
 
Read the Clements article. We have done well with Cane GAs. No reason he can't be one and grow into coach. His from baddest of the baddest part of town; a built in recruiting endge for him. He's family and almost gave it ALL for the team. Who better to give a shot to. Glad you're back OT; break a couple long to the house this year, son.
