**** Cane country who is that woman as your icon?

Thx for sharing the synopsis on Golden and that woman.

Go Canes

Sounds like we're comng together this year one way or another because Golden is in survival mode to save his best friend's job. I fully expect him to coach angry all year almost like a wounded animal that has been backed into a corner and I love it, earn your check boss mn.

Golden sounds angry enough to let our players finally play like Dade Kids much like Randy Shannon did in his last year here, Sean Spence being spanked across the field by Brandon Harris after an Interception comes to mind.

As the kids say WE COMIN!

He spoke highly of Heaps but I was surprised at how highly he spoke of Kaaya. He talked about from Kaaya's first day being in control at the line of scrimmage. Brad is my favorite of our QB's but I thought he just couldn't be ready in time. That would be really cool if he proves me wrong and takes the starting job.

Kaaya put in the work to place himself in a position to compete.

Heaps will be the starter no doubt in my mind but Kaaya will be right there ready to go

You mean the year we went 7-6 and the team quit on the coach?

Interesting things about QB:

1. Williams wasn't mentioned at all, so it was overlooked or he's still a ways a way. I think we see Williams at some point this year (even if it's just late mop up duty)

2. He says they'll concentrate on 2 QB's after the first scrimmage. The 2nd has to a freshman, right? If Olsen is suspended for the Louisville game, they can't afford to have Kayaa and Rosier to be taking 3rd & 4th team reps during camp.

I'm just reading between the lines - but I'd say Heaps is the starter, Kayaa and Rosier will be get a realistic chance to compete (but the staff would feel more comfortable if the Senior with starting experience asserts himself). Olsen is bumped to 4th team, is in the dog house, and is given the challenge to prove himself or transfer. Williams health is the wild card.

At this point Olsen would have to be considerably better to be ahead of kaya on the depth chart just from a reliability standpoint.

Kaaya already sounding better than heaps. I believe kaaya will outplay heaps but he still will probably start.

heaps only has had the playbook a month kaaya has had it 5 or 6 months.

Heaps is 23..wow this is huge in the maturity factor what we need to manage this game and a great arm and nothing to lose attitude..

I like heaps chances to start with Olsen being 2nd...until williams is ready..

Kaaya sound like a 4 yr guy with a RS this year

Kaaya is so small tho still. i DONT want him rushed early. Also, yup Yearby will ball. that is why he was the starter over Dalvin all through high school. lol
