-Thurn loves Miami
-Golden very happy the process is moving along. "the begining of the end"
-Golden believes we have given up a lot...mentions ACCCG and 2 Bowls. Can't quantify what we've endured.
-A lot of people don't realize that the current staff was not part of any allegations.
-Recruiting was very difficult
-Self imposed sanctions were very hard on players, especially seniors (mentioned Mike James)
-Thinks NCAA should establish time frame. Feels we HAVE ALREADY been on probation for the last two years.
-Uncertainty destroys you in recruiting.
Done with NCAA - on to recruiting
-Wasn't going to be a huge class, late additions due to not getting a couple guys they thought they would
-One QB, happy with Olsen, Big RB happy with Gus....Happy with TEs. Targeted 3 OLs, and got that. Still need DT help, but happy with DE class.
-Not worried about dual sport guys like Elder and Griffin. Coaches need to be flexible. Talked about David Thompson....(Guess he's still playing football)
-Sees Corn Elder as a slot or 3rd down back. Great laterall quickness.....Also may play CB.
-Team moving forward, great leadership in place Blake, and DS......Great things going on at UM, talks about BBall, and Baseball. Lots of freshman played last year and we are just getting better. Expects to take huge step forward.
-It has not been fun the last two years. Want's to close this chapter and move forward.
-Will be happy to not have to answer questions about NCAA in living rooms next year.
