Talked about Sandland a little and said he needs 65-70 catches between Cleveland, Walford, and Sandland this year for the offense to work like they want it to.

Said he was waiting on Black Monday to see where the chips fell before starting to interview for the coaching opening.

Interpretations...

1. 12 Commits, maybe 4-6 more.

2. Wants an NFL position coach for WR, maybe he is looking for our next OC in waiting as well.

3. Great number of catches spread around (5-7 per game) at the TE position. Now we have some serious talent/depth as well. Wouldn't surprise me to hear Perry and White are done.

4. Black Monday get McNulty. Interesting tidbit both graduated and played for PSU.

Sounds to me like he wants another WR coach with NFL experience, I like that plan.

This is the type of stuff that impresses me about Golden. It's minor in the grand scheme of things and maybe my expectations have been lowered by years of corching but you know there was no way in **** Randy was sweating the details like that.

This is the type of stuff that impresses me about Golden. It's minor in the grand scheme of things and maybe my expectations have been lowered by years of corching but you know there was no way in **** Randy was sweating the details like that.

I'm betting he is looking to add 16-18 recruits in addition to what he has already enrolled in Sandland, Figueroa, Odogwu and Knighton. There is simply no way we are only signing 16 kids (its possible we only sign 18 if we strike out with some kids). We have 13 kids committed now and are in very good standing with Collins, Coley, Kirkland, T.Williams, K.Bryant, Bostwick, 6, Grace and R.Robinson (the longest shot of the group IMO). We sign 7-9 of those kids and that is 20-22 total. The only way Golden's number makes sense is if he isnt counting the early enrollees in his 16-18 number.

Probably a good plan to look to the NFL, knowing that Fisch will be leaving in a year or two probably. OC is a good carrot to offer somebody.
