That guy can coach a D and not only that he knows the ACC. He is the best in the business in my opinion considering he doesn't get all 4 and 5 stars to work with.

why would bud come here for the same job less money...he is one of the highest paid Assit coaches in the business and loves VT...

They can definitely be solved with several new coaches. Golden is the best we have had since Butch. Until you accept the fact that he isnt going anywhere no matter how many threads you ***** in life is going to suck. Just hope he makes the right coaching changes and pray to god one of our QB's can actually play QB. Complaining about Golden knowing Shalala isnt going to do a god **** thing is useless and just clogs the board. Hope for something that actually has a chance of happening.

Golden ain't goin anywhere so let's drop that and discuss his options. I would first look into Bud to get **** going back in the right direction on D. It would be Golden's biggest accomplishment as a coach if he could pull Bud.

Do yourself a favor.....try not to post this nonsense again....especially avoid the other forums that are tied to other team
forums because, trust me, this will become a running joke for months.
Just a friendly heads-up.
 
I know we haven't been the best team as of very late, but there is def reasons for a guy to make a move latterly to here. If Golden wants to one day leave for the NFL or another school Bud if he came could jump right in if he was the DC. Also gets a much easier job to recruit for. Another main thing is who the **** wouldn't want to leave Vir for Flo.

With that said. Even if he came here it wouldn't be for long unless Golden moved on. Bud is going to get picked up by another school sooner rather then later if Beamer doesn't pack it in and retire soon.

Foster is not going to happen. He has been at VT for 64 years and loves that place. It's unrealistic.

On the other hand, Golden needs to go hard after Saban to be our DB coach.

I'm on board with this. As long as we are already completely delusional, why should we not hire a guy just because he's dead. If Donna really cared about football, she'd make this happen. Maybe we could fly a banner - "Dig up Vince".
