Golden is not going to fire coach D this year. Going to use excuse young and process. That takes us to next year. Assuming nothing changes dramatically in defense - more pressure to fire coach d.
Why not make all happy. Fire coach D and bring corch back as d coordinator. We all admit he was a good defensive coach just a terrible head coach. That would be like a group hug for all factions on the board. Comments.... Opinions....

I thought Shammin was overrated as a DC as well as being absolute trash as a HC. But i have no problems admitting Shammin was never close to being THIS bad as a DC.

I expected a 60ish ranked defense this year, given the inexperience and talent issues. But 118th? lol. Yes, even Shammin would be an improvement.

The bigger problem on defense is that our DL is not top 25 caliber (or even close for that matter). Our DTs consistently get pushed back 2-3 yards on virtually every play and our DEs cannot generate anything resembling a pass rush. Until some of the young guys grow up (and we add better depth), the schemes will matter little.
