Not saying he should be thrown under the bus (he shouldn't), just surprised the knee-jerking hasn't reached him.

I'm still trying to decide on our DB coach. At times they look bad and at times they look pretty good. I can't decide if, when the do mess up, it's Williams' fault or D'Ononfrio's scheme (i.e. playing 10 yards off the ball at the line of scrimmage).

Paul Williams has not exactly had the best situation to work with so it's hard to gauge at this point. Would Chuck Pagano or Mark Stoops fare any better given the same cards? ****, would it be much different with Nick Saban as DB coach? I'm not so sure it would. With the dearth of depth and talent in the secondary last year and the collection of youth coupled with the worst DL in the nation this year it's been a struggle just to keep our heads above water. I know it's a cliche but it's tough to make chicken salad out of chicken ****.
