If this guy stays through this mess and we win a 'ship with him as coach, I will personally put up the money for his statue.

I have to ride the whole way with Al. No doubt about it.

Yes, you'll have to, or you'll know that the NCAA sent this program down a division level.
As much as I would like to dispute that, I can't. It is entirely possible, given our actual attendance (not published), that the NCAA could effectively kill this program. Severe sanctions coupled with an already rapidly dwindling attendance could cause the U to re-evaluate the importance of 1-FBS football. That is what really worries me most. I don't want to see that happen in my lifetime.

The fools calling for staff changes or Als head dont understand that his staying on board goes way beyond what is on the field right now.

Yes, we could lose this program if the NCAA decides to unleash ****. No attendance, loss of current players to transfer, loss of staff etc..etc. it would be a disaster that i dont think we'd recover from. We would be, like SMU, an echo from the past.

The dissenters need to get a grip and look at the reality of the situation.
