Remember back in the 80s when Miami revolutionized college football by taking safeties and making them lbs, taking lbs and making them des, taking des and making them dts? Now we've got Golden doing essentially the opposite. We're big and slow all over the defense.

These bozos are taking defensive ends and putting them in coverage against wrs. Sometimes dts are in coverage as well. There were a number of plays last night where I saw shayon green or mccord or aqm getting roasted in coverage by wrs. I for one am shocked that Shayon Green can't keep up with a wr running a 4.4. Who would have thought? Most teams game plan and work real hard to try to create mismatches, like a lb on a speedy wr or rb. Not necessary when you play Miami. We'll create those mismatches for you. You just sit back and relax. And we can do much better than a lb on a wr, we'll put a de out there for you.

They came here wanting so badly to be the smartest guys in the room, rather than adhering to a tested method of success with South Florida talent. I.e. they suck as coaches. If they really respected and understood the culture of the program as much as Al pitches, they wouldn't have made these blunders. They clearly are clueless.

Quit these ridiculous posts. Everyone knows defensive linemen are supposed to cover corners on the outside man to man. Everyone knows we don't have to cover screen passes. Everyone knows we are stupid predictable on offense. You guys are out of line.

How ironic that we were matched up against Louisville, a team that has recruited the very same territory we do (and done so very well) and now runs a defense suited to the players.

I'm not sure what I fumed over more: Watching the Louisville defense dismantle us or knowing we'll never have that type of defense with Al at the helm.
