But what these new Canes did not do this year, is fold the season like a paper bag. That would be our last 10 years.. Instead we are on a 3 win streak. Yes I know last year. But THIS team would beat our last 12. Yes, they would.

So enjoy family. Get fat on Turkey day. Have Friday off, and then roll out to The Stadium come Saturday. Show out Cane fans.

An 8-4 regular season would be a decent start to Richt's career. Honestly it's about what the more realistic posters on here predicted. First years don't usually tend to be particularly good unless you inherit a Coker or Erickson situation.

With that being said starting next year Richt needs to turn the close losses into wins. Moral victories should really only count for a year. He was not hired at Miami to go 8-4 forever.
