Mario makes it seem like he is too cool for pr or it's beneath him.. he needs to lobby for us in playoff, all these coaches don't but do we think Mario will do it?

I don't think anybody at um understands how to do pr the right way
I agree. You never hear him talk up his team to the media. Never once did I hear him say “we’re a pretty good team when we on the top of our game” or “ we can play with anybody”.
**** matters.

Fran Brown said he doesn’t take showers after losses because he doesn’t deserve to wash the stink off losses. It sounds silly (and it is) but players see how much the coach hates losing. He never says it is a process, or we are getting better after losses, it’s just disgust that he failed at his job.

There is an insanity about being committed to winning. I don’t think a player like George would be welcome in the locker room after repeatedly committing stupid penalties that cost the team. At the very least he’d get a blanket party Full Metal Jacket style.

That schtick “its a process” worked up until about 5 years ago. With transfer portal, you can turn it aroound in 2 years tops.
Mario really shouldn’t say that anymore. Period.

You aren't going to have players for 4-5 years anymore. Not star players that make a big difference. It's one year at a time now, which kind of stinks, to be honest with you. I enjoyed college football when you could see a player develop in a system. Now it's just go out and hopefully find someone who wants a bigger stage. This is hurting team chemistry.
