I think "their year" that they were banking on was the year they got busted, senior qb, veteran team, etc. That year the Defense was loaded and they had a ton of players suspended, I dont remember exactly but the year they went toe to toe with a SEC team and looked the part with alot of players missing, think they lost on the last possession. To me they had all the pieces in place and boom just like that they were busted. Were most likely prime for a 10-11 win season. I think that game was against LSU

Once again Gio did not want to come here... The kid was a top rated back and chose UNC... Not FSU, not UF, but UNC... He just did not want to come here... Just like Amari Cooper...

was going to post the same thing. Marvin Austin, Robert Quinn, Greg Little, Quan Sturdivant, Deunta Williams among others all suspended for that LSU game. That UNC team would have won the ACC that year

Especially some of their defensive talent. Butch can really find the prospects and develop them.
