Getting to the game question

Question for the locals….a group of us is flying in tonight staying on Miami Beach. How early do we need to leave here tomorrow to head to the game? Im guessing stadium traffic is pretty crazy for this one? We’re in the black lot and want to get parked at least an hour or two before kickoff for tailgating.

Also, can I bring a bottle of rum into the stadium?

Traffic around the stadium will be a **** show.

leave at 4 and you should get to the lot around 5-5:30ish at the latest

And no you definitely can’t bring the run into the stadium.

1.5-2.0 hours to get to the game from south beach. we are leaving at 1pm to cue and then be ready to enter by 2pm.

1) I don't know the entrance to Black when headed from south to north, but it is monumentally convenient for circumventing the traffic immediately around the stadium when one heads north to south on the Ronald Reagan Turnpike. Therefore, I would suggest going 195 or 395 to the Turnpike, depending on which exit your are closer to from the Beach;

2) With #1 in mind, the stadium will open at 5:30 for kickoff. There will be serious and slow lines to enter. You will want to be in line no later than 6:30 if you want to see the kickoff; therefore,

3) If you want 2 hours to tailgate, I would leave the Beach no later than 3pm, and 2:30pm would be safer.

4) You can't bring rum into the stadium if they see you. Plastic/rubber flask would be your best bet.

i hear you but the alternative is to in traffic for 2 hours. i'd go early because she's likely to be get upset with either getting there early or the traffic. also, i take them to the store and let them buy ****. that ameliorates the trouble

I’ve snuck liquor into the Hard Rock in sunscreen lotion bottles before lol but if you’re flying in I wouldn’t recommend it cause you run the risk of getting kicked out if you’re caught.

Put a flask in your pants and you can bring what you want in.

Wise. If someone is upset with you, it would seem to be better to be parked and walking around with music playing to ignore them, than sitting next to them in traffic trying to ignore them
