Plus:

Larkin and Kadji: Same 'ol same 'ol.

Minus:

-Rebounding: Out rebounded 29-25 by Georgia Tech. Unacceptable.

-Reggie Johnson: His turnovers (3) equaled the the total of his points (2) and rebounds (1) combined.

-Coach L. Starting Reggie Johnson: Stop it. What prompted the change? We were on a pretty good roll, and he's looked horrible these past two games. He got plenty burn coming off the bench, and Gamble hasn't exactly sucked in his role.

-Durand Scott's Lack of Composure: I'm going to make a comparison that's going to go over 99% of you guys heads. He's the Kris Letang of guards. All the physical ability in the world, just does weird things sometimes.

In the last 13 minutes of the game only 2 players had any FG's... TWO PLAYERS. 2 layups by Gamble and 2 jumpers by Scott.

The team is worn down. They've hit the proverbial wall and there's nobody to spell them. Having close to a week off between Clemson and our Friday ACCT game should help.

At this point, the worst possible thing for us would probably be to make the ACC tourney title game. Imagine this team playing 3 games in 3 days. It'll be like the Hawaii trip all over again.

It's tough. The team needs the rest, but at the same time, going into the NCAA Tourney with momentum is usually a very good thing.

Every time I get over it, I see something that ****es me off. Just walked into a restaurant for lunch and the game winning shot was on sportscenter top 10

I'm over it. We woke up against Virginia Tech. We did again with GT, but we had a melt-down in the 2nd half. Yes, that is worrisome, but I have faith in Coach L. If this was Haith, then I would have no faith haha.

Everybody just needs to calm the **** down and relax. We will win on Saturday afternoon trending the Duke/UNC game virtually meaningless to us as we lock up both the #1 seed and outright ACC Regular Season Championship.

Have a little faith guys.....we'll be fine.

Have to think he is resting Gamble for the NCAA's. Question is do you continue to start Reggie in the ACC tourny?

He sure wasn't resting him last night. And Gamble should never be a 25-30 minutes a game guy in the first place.

IN mentioned in the WEZ thread about Swoope getting more minutes and I agree, he's got to give us 5 to 10 a game to try and hold this thing together. He should have played last night.

Agreed, at this point, if Reggie isn't going to give us effective minutes, I think we'd be better off using Swope to eat up some of the minutes when Gamble or Kadji is on the bench. Last night, GT's 2nd big was usually not a particularly big guy, and it probably would have made sense to get Swope in there instead of Reggie, and instead of playing Gamble so much. Also, I think we've been playing Jekiri mostly for 6 mins or so in the first half, and just a couple mins in the 2nd half, if at all. If Reggie doesn't get it going on Saturday, I think we may have to use more Jekiri in the 2nd half.
