Miami looks to burn Atlanta to the ground when they march up to play Georgia Tech. Get hyped.
Miami has lost both of it's first 2 road games so far this year. Now would be a good time to grab a road win. I had this game penciled in as a W when I looked at the schedule last summer. I only thought we'd win 7 or 8 games, so losing today would kind of suck. Georgia Tech is pretty amped up to finally beat us. The fans are doing a white out thing and the team will be wearing all white, including their helmets. Meanwhile, Miami will be dressed like this:

The last thing the Yellow Jackets want to do is have to start slinging the ball all around the field. Their team isn't built for that. Their QB, Justin Thomas, has a completion percentage below 50%.

Top 5 in career rushing yards...not bad. He can jump ahead of Ottis Anderson and into 2nd place all time in career all-purpose yards with 161 additional yards. He also needs just 132 yards on the ground to move passed Clinton Portis. When you think about it, he's only really played 2 full seasons because of all the nagging injuries he's had throughout his career. He'd be knocking on the door to Edgerrin James right about now had he remained healthy last year. CP was on campus this week with the ACC Digital Network. Here's the piece they made.

Now Hurns is continuing to do Hurns things in the NFL. This play gave us our first lead of the game. It was still a 1 point game with a little more than 7 minutes remaining in regulation. Then we rattled off 3 touchdowns in less than 6 minutes to make it look like a blowout.

I said:...After a couple of decent runs by Duke, Miami moves backwards again because of penalties. This time it's Jon Feliciano who was holding. Because of that UM is facing 3rd and long a few plays later. Morris throws an out to Hurns for the 1st down. It was identical to the play at the end of the 3rd quarter against Florida where Hurns spun off the DB and raced down the sideline. Only this time Hurns had Dorsett blocking down field for him and he goes 69 yards for the score.
